The Solar Seas Project
Island nations are heavily dependant on fossil fuels for sea transportation. This has a high carbon footprint and puts enormous pressure on the already vulnerable marine ecosystems. Moreover, limited land is a major challenge in making the shift to renewable sources of energy.
At Redhan, this is an issue we are very passionate about adressing because sustainable transportation is a necessity for the harmonious existence of humans and nature. The Solar Seas Project is how we plan to address this. We aim to tackle these two problems simultaneously by providing an out of the box, sustainable transport and clean energy harvesting solution.
Our solution will have zero fuel requirements and zero carbon emissions in operation. While being sustainable, it will also provide a cheaper and more accessible travel alternative
We are aiming to have our first models out in in 2-3 years.
